I’m at my best when I’m training, I love being outdoors and challenging myself both physically and mentally. My main sporting passions are Flatwater Race Kayaking and Endurance Running. I love the sense of freedom that both these sports allow me.

As my love for fitness developed, I became more interested in sport, rehabilitation and nutrition. I studied Sports Therapy and Sport and Exercise Nutrition at University leading to being a Sports Therapist and Sport and Exercise Nutritionist. I am interested in developing my knowledge of sports performance and how we can move efficiently to prevent injury and maximise our potential. For any of you that have spoken to me, you will understand my love for food and the big impact it can have on our training and performance. Being an endurance athlete, being on top of your nutrition is so important. But that doesn’t mean eating salads all day! I am a big believer in balance and letting ourselves eat foods that we enjoy and not feel guilty about it, as well as choosing foods that will give us maximum benefits! I like to think of food as fuel for exercise and daily activities and not using exercise as a method to allow yourself to eat more food.

My main goal is to get more people involved in physical activity, help people to enjoy exercise and not see it as something they HAVE to do. I believe the most important thing is to enjoy exercise, the health benefits that come with it are an added bonus! I am passionate about helping and coaching other people towards their goals and seeing others succeed.
